Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of comprehensive primary health care to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventative care, and follow up, in keeping with best practice standards
- Provide management of chronic conditions in line with national guidelines and pathways
- Record and maintain accurate, adequate and relevant patient records using the practice computerised medical records system
- Build strong doctor-patient relationships based on trust, empathy, and effective communication. Respect the cultural beliefs and needs of the patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical practice with professional knowledge of the standards through continual medical education and personal professional development & Practicing medicine in a way that reflects the company’s values.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuing education activities, & working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Maintaining integrity in professional practice
- Develop and maintain relationships with all staff members
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
- Registration as a medical practitioner with Medical Board (AHPRA)
- Vocational registration through fellowship with either RACGP or ACRRM
- Current Medical Indemnity
- Proven experience as a General Practitioner in a primary care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centred care and promoting health and wellbeing in the community.
