Dr Telfer grew up in northwest Sydney and came to Dubbo as a medical student. She liked it so much that she decided to stay.

Michelle Previously studied Medical Science at UNSW, she is a Post Graduate of Medicine which she did at Sydney University (including a year at Dubbo Clinical School). 

Dr Telfer has a wealth of knowledge and experience in General Practice. She has trained registrars and Medical students for many years in her Wellington and Dubbo clinics  as well as teaches at the Sydney school of rural health. 

Michelle helps to run an antenatal clinic in Wellington once a week. She loves all aspects of medicine but in particular women's and children's health.

Outside of work Michelle loves spending time with family, netball, Pilates, gym, reading and recently just got back into athletics (after a very long hiatus).
