Dr Pethidia Mango, the Director of Education and Training at Dubbo Health Hub, is an experienced and accredited supervisor with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Over the years, she has supervised registrars at the Dubbo Aboriginal Medical Service and the RFDS Broken Hill Base. Her dedication to clinical teaching is evident in her regular external clinical teaching visits for GP registrars, and her contributions to the education of medical students at the University of Sydney School of Rural Health.

Pethidia is a certified trainer and inserter for both copper and hormonal IUDs, as well as contraceptive implants, showcasing her expertise in women's health. She is devoted to enhancing the accessibility of women's health services, a commitment that is demonstrated in her fortnightly outreach women's health clinic in Gilgandra.

As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a holder of a Master's degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University, Pethidia brings a vast array of knowledge and experience to her role. Her personal journey as an international medical graduate from the University of Zimbabwe allows her to understand and empathise with the challenges faced by international medical graduates. This unique perspective makes her an invaluable mentor for GP registrars, particularly those who are international medical graduates.

Shared antenatal care, child and adolescent health, women’s health (including contraception, Implanon & IUD insertion and removal, and menopause), chronic disease management, mental health, aged care and preventative health checks (such as cervical screening, skin checks, and health assessments).
